OUR STORY

WHO WE ARE...
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-political, service organization.  Our primary purpose is to raise funds to help meet the charitable needs of our community.

Our Mission:  To form a better spirit of neighborliness and cooperation for the betterment of the Club, Community, and Fellow Members.

Club MottoLoyal in Everything.

Our History: The original club, called the Lakeside Ladies Club, was formed on May 26, 1909.  The Welfare Club, formed in 1929, voted in the early 1980's to maintain the original name.  Now, the Lakeside Community Club has a rich tradition of service to the West Shore of Flathead Lake, Montana.  The Club has grown from a handful of members to about 125 women who meet every month to facilitate community outreach.  Our major fund-raising effort is the annual Community Fair held each year in July at the Lakeside Elementary School gym and grounds.
